MUFFIN CUPCAKES-

A muffin is a chemically-leavened, batter-based bakery product. Muffins usually have fruits, nuts, and other ingredients mixed into the batter. Muffins are usually considered healthier and tastier than cakes. Muffins are usually less in sugar and fat, whereas more in flour and liquid, which is very unlike the ingredients used in cakes. So many peoples like muffins which have protein also. Muffin cupcakes are baked with just one egg, whereas cake requires more eggs to be baked. Yeast is not used in muffins, but baking powder is used.

 

 

HOW IS A MUFFINS CUPCAKE DIFFERENT FROM CAKE?

Cakes and muffins are both baked food products. The difference between cakes and muffin cupcakes is that a muffin is a form of bread that is very tastier and healthier; whereas a cake which is much sweeter than a muffin.  Cakes are the favorite dessert that everyone likes after dinner while muffin cupcakes are served for breakfast and brunch. Cakes usually have icing on them while muffins are never covered with icing.

BASIC MUFFINS RECIPE-

Ingredients-

Makes 14 muffins cupcakes

4 cups white flour
2 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 cups milk
1/2 cup melted butter                                              
 
 
          Step 1 for making basic Muffin cupcakes-
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Butter muffin cakes pans. Mix the white flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a small bowl. Add the egg, milk, and butter, stirring only enough to rinse the flour; the batter should not be smooth. Spoon into the muffin cupcakes pans, filling each cup about two-thirds full. Bake for about 25 to 30 minutes each.

  2. Mixed berry Muffins

    Step 2

    Use 1 cup of sugar. Reserve 1/2 cup of the flour, sprinkle it over 1 cup of blueberries, and stir them into the batter last.

  3. Fruit burst Muffins

    Step 3

    Use ¼ cup sugar. Add ½ cup of chopped fruits that you like to the batter. After filling the cups, sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon, cardamom, and more chopped nuts and dry fruits.

  4. Whole-Wheat Muffins

    Step 4

    Use 1 cup whole-wheat flour and 2 cups white flour.

  5. Date or Raisin Muffins

    Step 5

    Add ½ cup chopped seedless dates or ⅓ cup raisins to the batter.
